Where do I sign in?
You don’t have to sign in with tater jots. Once you’re logged into your account on your Chrome browser you’re good to go!

I deleted a group, video or jot I didn’t mean to. Can I retrieve it?
Not yet. We are working hard to provide this feature ASAP.

Is tater jots only compatible with Youtube?
For now ;)

If I uninstall tater jots, will all my jots be deleted?
Yes. Currently, tater jots stores your jots on Google storage and will be lost if the extension is uninstalled.  We are planning on storing the jots in a database in the near future, along with other improvements.

Where are my jots stored?
We leverage Google’s storage API. From Google’s documentation, “the stored data will automatically be synced to any Chrome browser that the user is logged into, provided the user has sync enabled”.

What happens when I run out of storage?
Since theres a hard limit on the memory Google allocates, your jots will no longer be stored. We’re actively working on creating our own storage solution. Clicking the storage bar in our drop down menu located under the search bar will give you an idea of where you’re at storage-wise.

Will my jots sync to other devices? 
Yes. Since we’re only on Chrome right now, you would have to sign in and make sure ‘Sync Across Devices’ is on in the browser’s settings.

Tater jots is not working on my computer?
Email us at info@taterjots.com with the subject line “BUGS“ and a description of the error.
Please include your operating system (Mac, Windows, etc) and browser version (Found by typing
chrome://settings/help) in your address bar.

We are constantly working to improve tater jots, we will look at the bugs and try and get them handled promptly.
